Study Tour
The Study Tour is a full-day training programme that runs throughout the entire festival and is designed to explore Europa Cantat Junior from a professional perspective.
In the morning, you will be able to visit ateliers, observe and discuss repertoire choices, rehearsal strategies, and the different techniques used by each atelier conductor. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to meet the atelier leaders and the conductors of some of the participating choirs, take part in enriching discussions with an international group of colleagues, and learn about choral singing practices in different countries.
You will also have the chance to attend choir-to-choir concerts and concerts by invited choirs, take part in Open Singing sessions, and reflect on all these experiences together with the other Study Tour participants and the two programme leaders: Martí Ferrer from Catalonia and Carlo Pavese from Italy.
Who is it aimed at?
The Study Tour is a programme aimed at choir conductors, music teachers, music students, and anyone interested in the practice of children’s choral singing. Join a group of international colleagues and explore the festival from a professional perspective.
