And the Land Sang Back

The land is not passive. It remembers, it resonates, and it responds.
"And the Land Sang Back" is a musical exploration of place, identity, resistance, reclamation, and belonging — through a distinctly Canadian lens. Featuring repertoire that spans from the atmospheric pop of Aurora to brand-new works by Indigenous Canadian composers, this atelier celebrates the complexity and beauty of the ground we stand on, and the many voices it holds. At its core, this is a concert about connection: to self, to others, and to the land itself. Music of joy, grief, revolution, and hope — a choral gathering that invites singers and listeners alike to lean in, listen deeply, and remember that the land is never quiet. It is always singing — and sometimes, it sings back.
